Colin Parker is a New York–based photographer working primarily with 35mm film. His work focuses on everyday moments—small, often overlooked scenes where timing and context give meaning to the image.

He began his creative career as a professional musician, first picking up a camera as a practical way to create album artwork. Over time, photography became a more natural mode of expression, offering a way to observe rather than perform.

Working with film allows Parker to embrace uncertainty and let go of perfection. What began as carrying a camera in search of worthy subjects gradually shifted into a practice of using the camera to change perspective—learning that anything can be a worthy subject, if you look closely enough.
